STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR SEPTEMBER 2023 – VALLÉE-DE-LA-GATINEAU SECTOR

PUBLIC NOTICE, is hereby given by the undersigned, Secretary-general, that student registration for Prekindergarten 4, kindergarten 5 and grade 1, will be held from February 6th to the 17th, 2023

CONDITION FOR ADMISSION :
• Prekindergarten : Be 4 years old before October 1st, 2023
• Kindergarten : Be 5 years old before October 1st, 2023
• Grade 1: Be 6 years old before October 1st, 2023

➔ Students from, Maniwaki, Déléage, Egan-Sud, Aumond, Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau, Bois-Franc, Montcerf-Lytton, Messines and Grand-Remous register at L’Académie Sacré-Coeur, 248, rue Notre-Dame, Maniwaki. You must take an appointment at 819 449-4698 and dial extension 14821.
➔ Students from Bouchette, Blue Sea, Lac-Sainte-Marie, Cayamant, Low, Kazabazua and Gracefield register at Pavillon Sacré-Coeur, 11, chemin de Blue Sea, Gracefield. You must take an appointment at 819 463-2949, extension 13522.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS YOU MUST PROVIDE AT REGISTRATION :

Birth certificate (original)
• Children born in Quebec : large format certificate issued by the registrar of civil status;
• Children born in Ontario : FULL VERSION certificate;
• Children born outside of Quebec and Ontario : valid document with the names of the parents and the place of birth of the child.

Proof of residence in Quebec of parent or legal guardian
Two of the following documents :
• Lease or deed of purchase of residence;
• Municipal or school tax invoice;
• AND
• Utilities invoice (Hydro-Québec, telephone, internet, cable, etc.);
• Valid driver’s license in Quebec;
• Bank account / credit card statement;
• Proof of subscription to a magazine or newspaper.

ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL

For students already enrolled in elementary and high school, renewal of registration for the upcoming school year must be done online via the Mozaik parent portal. Assistance will be available for those who need it.

NEW STUDENTS

For new students who wish to enroll in elementary school, the parent or legal guardian must get in touch with the same schools as those designated for kindergarten and grade 1 registration above.

For new students who wish to enroll in high school, the parent or legal guardian must contact l’École primaire et secondaire Sacré-Coeur de Gracefield at 819 463‑2949 extension 13522 or at the Cité étudiante de la Haute-Gatineau, in Maniwaki at 819 449‑7900 extension 15222.
